Davide, together with Albert Costa, took Ferrari to the podium in the GTD Pro class in the number 81 DragonSpeed car thanks to a comeback race, run in extremely difficult conditions due to the extremely high temperatures inside the cockpit.
Davide “A third place that counts as a victory. We were never in the race and always had to defend ourselves due to a very unfavourable Bop. It was a difficult six hours, which remained very tough due to the great heat inside our cockpit caused by a broken fan. I ran for almost three hours and my companion almost fainted. I have to congratulate the whole team for the excellent strategy that allowed us, together with error-free driving, to climb back up to fourth place. The safety cars compacted the group and we were all very close together. With the disqualification of the Mustang we grabbed the podium.”
