Another podium finish for Davide Rigon at the wheel of the Ferrari 296 GT3.
This time, it’s the #81 DragonSpeed car, competing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Teamed with Albert Costa, they secured the podium in the closing stages with decisive overtaking moves.
Davide Rigon #81: “I’m very happy with this result, the result of a very intense race, starting in sixth place and finishing in second place. The car was working very well, especially in the corners, while we were giving away a bit on the straight. As a team, we’re in second place in the championship, and we’ll be fighting for the win in Atlanta in mid-October.”
Davide has now already flown to Fuji, Japan, for the FIA WECR round.
There’s only one event left on the WeatherTech Championship calendar, which concludes on Saturday, October 11th with the 10 Hours of Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.
