ELMS R.2 | A BITTER-TASTING FIFTH PLACE AT PAUL RICARD ER DAVIDE

Paul Ricard was the scene of the second European Le Mans Series event of the season. Davide, at the wheel of the number 51 AF Corse Ferrari 296 LMGT3, together with Charles-Henri Samani and Conrad Laursen, crossed the finish line in fifth place after having been leading for a long time.

Davide Rigon ‘A fifth place that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth because until forty minutes from the chequered flag we were leading without having to change tyres. Unfortunately, Laursen was the victim of a spin that ruined his tyres, forcing him to make a pit stop that dropped us to fourth place. It was a real shame because the race was practically won.”

The next round of the European Le Mans Series 2025 will be the 4 Hours of Imola on Sunday 6 July, but first some ELMS teams and drivers will return to France next month to take part in the 93rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 14 and 15 July.
