With the FIA WEC World Championship over, Davide flew to Malaysia to the Sepang circuit for the first two rounds of the 4 Hours at the wheel of the AF Corse team’s Ferrari 296 number 51, paired with Frenchman Samani and Indonesian Galael.

In the second round, the official Ferrari driver staged an impressive comeback, only to be stopped in his tracks by a sudden downpour that forced race officials to wave the red flag and end the race early, just as Rigon was charging towards third place. The third and fourth rounds are scheduled for 31 January in Dubai.

Davide: ‘I’m happy with my performance, especially in Race 2, where I had a very good pace in wet conditions and made a comeback to finish fourth. A sudden downpour interrupted the race early, but it was a good race, even if it would have been nice to end the year with a podium finish.’
