After the double won in Japan, Davide Rigon with his team mate James Calado and AF Corse team, is ready to go back to race with his Farrari 458 #71 GTE Pro at the 6 Hours of Shanghai, this is the 6th race of FIA WEC World Championship.

Rigon is going back on the 5.451 metres  long chinese track (the same circuit of F1 Champioship), where he won with 8Star Motorsport team, driving the GTE-AM Ferrari car 1 year ago.
Thanks to this success and other podiums, the driver from Thiene had a contribution to Team and Contructors’s World Championship.

With the second place at 6 Hours of Fuji, Rigon and James beginning a part of the Top 10 and Ferrari confirmed his leadership on the Contructors teams chart. “I have to say in China I have always a good luck. Last year I celebrated the World Championship victory and in 2008 I won the Superleague Formula Championship with Beijing Guoan” said Davide Rigon. “The double win and the podium are a contribution to working in the right way, we are ready to win the Championship”. After Shanghai the FIA WEC is going in Bahrain (November 15th) and in Brazil (November 30th) for the final race.

“On the qualifications we can give something to our adversaries and then to be protagonist during the race. Me and James are two “rookies” in the masters class, so we are ready to give our contribution to give the victory to our Ferrari team. Finally we are racing in the tracks that I know very well, this is a good thing for me. Also, I think Shanghai will be the last track not favorable for us”.
