Fia Wec and Blancpain on 2017

It will be a very busy 2017! I’ll be part of the Fia WEC with AF Corse team this year too, we are starting the new season with the Prologue in Monza, so I can finally feeling like beeing at home. The big news is the Blancpain Endurance Cup where I’m going to race with the SMP Racing Team. I have been already part of this Championship on 2013, always with Ferrari.

There will be 5 races with the BEC, the first one in Monza on the weekend of April 23th, then I’ll pass through the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps which is my favorite circuit, to end with Barcellona on September 3th.

I am very happy to be part of this project. SMP Racing is a team that has now known Ferrari for a long time and the lads in the garage are all very experienced. The Blancpain Endurance Cup is the benchmark championship for GT3 cars and I am very happy to compete in the main series together with Miguel and Victor. The 488 GT3 is a fantastic car with which I previously won the Gulf 12 Hours at the end of last year and I can’t wait to start this new exciting adventure.
